The Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project is a voice for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender or “Rainbow” communities. They have strong links with many government departments and non-governmental organizations in the areas of education, human rights, policing, legal/political affairs, health care, faith and religion, and community development, so that people of all sexual orientations and gender identities are valued and included.
PFLAG Canada is Canada’s only national organization that helps all Canadians with issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. PFLAG Canada supports, educates and provides resources to all individuals with questions or concerns, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
