Cheryl Canning, chair
Cheryl is a partner at Burchells LLP in Halifax, where she practices insurance defence litigation. She is a Dalhousie alumni, and was called to the bar in 1998. Cheryl is a member of the Board of Directors for LIANS, Chair of the Lawyers' Assistance Program Committee, and Vice-Chair of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Credentials Committee. Cheryl is actively involved with her firm's membership in The ARC Group Canada, with Canadian Defence Lawyers, and the Nova Scotia Insurance Women's Association. Cheryl is a native Newfoundlander, who now lives in Dartmouth with her husband Andrew and their two sons. In the winter, Cheryl can be found at various hockey rinks around metro, and in the summer, at Banook Canoe Club. Cheryl also has a special interest in the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Jennifer Glennie
Jennifer is a solicitor with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. Before arriving at Justice she was a partner with McInnes Cooper and also spent two years as the branch manager of a trust company. She was called to the bar in 1998 and attended Dalhousie Law School. Jennifer is a certified personal trainer and can be found instructing outdoor boot camps in the spring and summer. She chairs Justice's Healthy Workplace Committee and volunteers at her daughter's school, including the School Advisory Council. Jennifer and her family live in Cole Harbour.

Craig Berryman
Craig Berryman BA, LLB has been practising law since 1987. His practice is concentrated in property conveyancing and development, estate planning and probate. With an office in Sheet Harbour and Halifax he has significant experience in with both rural and urban property issues.
An avid soccer fan and former player, Craig now coaches and chauffeurs his children to their games.
Craig is a member of the NSBS and a board member of the Lawyers’ Assistance Program.

Father Evo DiPierro
Father Evo is a Roman Catholic priest of the Diocese of Antigonish, presently serving at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church in Pictou and Holy Name Church in Westville, Nova Scotia. He was ordained in 2009. Father Evo is also a lawyer, admitted in June 2003. He articled at Burchell MacDougall in Truro and then practiced law in Sydney.
During his seminary education, he took courses in pastoral counseling and is trained for counselling in the areas of substance addiction and abuse, stress, burnout, grieving from loss, family conflict, depression, self-esteem issues and other areas.
Father Evo provides pastoral counselling to individuals and families.

Michael Power QC
Michael K. Power, QC graduated from Dalhousie University Law School in 1975. Michael has carried on the general practice of law in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
In addition to his general practice he has been a Federal Crown Attorney prosecuting drug offences. He has served as special counsel to the Workers’ Compensation Committee. He is currently the general counsel for the Automotive Trades Association of Nova Scotia. Michael continues to appear in all levels of court in Nova Scotia.
In addition to his legal practice, he has served on numerous boards, committees and associations including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Nova Scotia Residential Tenancies Board, the Bridgewater Tennis Club, the Kiwanis Club, Fort Point Museum Board, the Bridgewater Curling Club, the Kinsmen Club and he chaired the YMCA Capital Campaign, the Nova Scotia Police Commission and the Bridgewater Renaissance Committee. He currently chairs the Fundraising Committee of the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Center.
He is an avid fisherman, sailor, cross country and downhill skier, golfer, tennis player and gardener.
